The thing is they are mad because Harry is showing them that racism and bias is not a mindset that is written in stone. People can and do change. When they do, they are generally the best at addressing the things they got wrong and opening the eyes of others.
This is a brief piece written in response to the disingenuous article by one Jennie Bond in which she equates the Sussex Squad to the abhorrent sinister hate group lurking in social media and going by the name M3gxit.
Harry knows what it was like to grow up with a mother who was picked apart in the press, and he suffered through bullying in school with embarrassing headlines about both parents. He and Meghan have simply had enough and frankly, Archie will one day hopefully be relieved of some of the heartache Harry had to suffer.
Through a landscape of unprecedented hostility and sabotage from kin and country, the Sussexes have persevered and remained admirably focused on helping and highlighting the causes dearest to them. While they have seemingly stayed steadfast, It really didn’t have to be this way.
I have been moved to tears to see the unwarranted hatred and malicious sniping lobbed at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ever since Harry decided to “up his game” and marry this woman.
I call it Twitter-Gate not because this story is as scandalous as the stories referenced earlier but to point out the scandalous evidence of abject laziness and lack of originality in the UK press.
