Recently Piers Morgan tweeted the following on Twitter about Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex:
“Personal dealings?”
British media personality Piers Morgan has made absolutely no secret at all about how much he hates Duchess Meghan, for as he puts it “ghosting” or dropping him after the then former actress Meghan Markle met Morgan one time only for a platonic and friendly drink in 2016.
Piers Morgan claims the day he and Meghan met for their friendly drink was the same day she met Prince Harry. In fact, Morgan claims Meghan went on her fated blind date with Prince Harry right after their friendly drink together. Yet Morgan can’t seem to understand why Prince Harry likely wouldn’t want the woman he says he knew from the very beginning was meant for him within 10 feet of Piers Morgan ever again.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that what likely happened during Meghan’s first date with Harry was this:
During small talk, Meghan mentioned she had just left a pub where she had a drink with Piers Morgan.
And it also doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out Prince Harry likely then gave Meghan the complete low down on Piers Morgan’s sordid professional past; and why she should steer clear of Morgan particularly, if they were going to go beyond a first date.
Other than the obvious reason being, he’s Piers Morgan…
…why else would Prince Harry warn Meghan to think about steering clear of Piers Morgan, (if that is in fact what happened)?
For the following reason:
You see, once upon a time Piers Morgan was the editor of the tabloid rag The Daily Mirror….
…and during that time period The Daily Mirror and its related tabloids were involved in a huge phone hacking scandal, where the tabloid reportedly illegally tapped into the private voicemail messages of famous people like musician Paul McCartney, actor Hugh Grant, among many others.

In new defense documents produced by Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), the company accepts that several stories which appeared in the Daily Mirror between 2002 and 2004 were likely to have involved “unlawful interceptions of voicemails” and the blagging of call data.
The publisher is currently fighting dozens of civil claims which allege a “widespread and habitual” use of hacking inside its three national titles.
The new admission relates to claims by Robert Ashworth, a former producer of Coronation Street. He alleges that between 2002 and 2004 – when Mr Morgan was at the helm of the Daily Mirror – all three of MGN’s national titles published articles containing private information relating to him and his family life with the actress Tracy Shaw, then one of the soap’s leading stars. Mr Morgan was editor of the Mirror when three stories about the actress and producer were published – one story appeared in January 2002 and two in May 2003.
He resigned from the Mirror in 2004 following the publication of fake photos that purported to show Iraqi war prisoners being abused by British soldiers. In fact some of those who were illegally hacked, including actor Hugh Grant, took the Daily Mirror tabloid to court over its illegal phone hacking.

“The publisher of the Daily Mirror has admitted its senior editors and executives “actively turned a blind eye” to phone hacking for years as it agreed to pay hefty damages to Hugh Grant to settle his high court claim on Monday.
Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) acknowledged that people working at its newspapers were involved in a widespread campaign of “unlawful information-gathering”; a campaign they then tried to cover up.
The firm accepted that “senior employees, including executives, editors and journalists, condoned, encouraged or actively turned a blind eye to the widespread culture of unlawful information-gathering activities at all three of its newspapers for many years and actively sought to conceal its wrongdoing from its many victims of intrusion”, Grant’s solicitor, Anjlee Saigol, told Mr Justice Mann at the high court .
Reading a statement agreed by Grant and the publisher, Saigol added that MGN had acknowledged its “repeated and prolonged intrusions into innocent people’s lives over, in some instances, a decade, could have been prevented or interrupted”.
Instead, the statement said, the parent company Trinity Mirror “failed to properly investigate these disgraceful actions” when allegations first emerged in 2006.
The admission goes yet further than the fulsome concessions made by MGN when it settled a similar case brought by the actor and comedian, Steve Coogan, last October. At that point, the firm acknowledged Coogan had been the “target of unlawful activities and that these activities were concealed until years later”.
For his part, Coogan said editors and executives, among them Piers Morgan, had not yet been “subjected to proper scrutiny” and called for the second part of the Leveson inquiry into the British press to take place.” The Guardian – February 2018

This is a part of Piers Morgan’s sordid background which most of today’s public likely don’t really know about, but I assure you most notable people know about it, including members of the British Royal Family.
What likely happened on Meghan’s first date with Prince Harry is: Harry informed Meghan all about Piers Morgan’s low character and dishonest history, and likely said to Meghan something like “please don’t communicate with him anymore; he’s poison.”
And Meghan likely didn’t need to be told to drop Morgan after hearing about the REAL character of Piers Morgan; not the charming guy I’m sure he tried to pretend he was the very brief time he was in her presence, while in that London pub.
Who wants to be friends with a guy who just may tap into your voicemail messages, illegally invade your privacy, and is just, (in my opinion), a low character and amoral person overall?
Prince Harry is notoriously suspicious of the British press after the horrible way it hounded and disrespected his dear mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
In my opinion, there was no way that Prince Harry was going to allow his brand new girlfriend Meghan to keep a friendship with a person like Piers Morgan, a person who has a history of heading a media organization which was found to be extremely shady, dishonest….and illegally invasive.

That was then, this is now.
The then actress Meghan Markle reportedly “ghosted” or dropped Piers Morgan and he has yet to get over it.
Piers Morgan seems to absolutely hate Meghan, now The Duchess of Sussex.
Henceforth, Morgan’s bitterness (due to rejection) has turned his initially glowing compliments of Meghan to unfounded and vicious attacks.
Hell hath no fury like Piers Morgan scorned!
Morgan verbally excoriates Meghan every chance he gets; sometimes joining forces with Meghan’s father and his other daughter.
Piers Morgan has also carried his seeming vendetta against Duchess Meghan into his writing for the tabloid rag, The Daily Mail as these recent examples of articles he has written about her prove:

Sadly, Piers Morgan has even gone out of his way to provide a platform to Meghan’s own extremely toxic father Thomas Markle to publicly disparage and attack his own daughter.
I would rather not link to videos and articles featuring Thomas Markle betraying his own daughter, or link to a video of him betraying Meghan on live TV with Piers Morgan, a man who has called his daughter a “ruthless social climber” among other insulting names, but if you wish to check it out for yourself, the videos of Piers Morgan in cahoots on TV with Thomas Markle are readily available on Google and YouTube.
The interesting thing is Piers Morgan’s current affection for Thomas Markle hasn’t always been the case.
Here is a video of an interview with Piers Morgan where he calls Meghan’s half sister, Samantha Markle a “vulture”, “ghastly” and “appalling” among other direct and in my opinion, accurate insults which he aimed at her….
…BUT the video also contains the most accurate description of the Markle family members who have repeatedly insulted and betrayed Meghan that I have ever seen…
….and Morgan’s disparaging comments were also targeted at Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle.
Surprisingly, it looks like Piers Morgan decided to be honest about Thomas Markle on this ONE occasion.

But that was then, and this is now.
As many of us know, Piers Morgan is no longer “defending” Meghan Markle, now The Duchess of Sussex, against the disturbing and heartbreaking actions of her father.

This is all to say as Piers Morgan continues his seemingly never-ending vendetta against Duchess Meghan all because she decided to “ghost” or dump him a few years ago…
…and as Morgan insinuates the now Duchess is a person of bad character for doing so…
… please keep in mind the FACTS I posted above about his very shady and extremely dishonest professional history for a possible reason WHY the then actress Meghan Markle likely chose to “ghost” a guy like Piers Morgan.
In my opinion, it’s what any smart, decent, and principled person would have done after learning about Morgan’s reportedly extremely shady and amoral character and past history as documented in the newspaper excerpt above.
Finally and in my opinion this reveals the type of amoral and extremely toxic character Piers Morgan has shown in response to a woman simply saying “no thanks” to him via her actions by refusing to stay in contact with him.
That is any person’s right and particularly, it is any woman’s right.
The plot thickens when you add the fact that in addition to writing columns for the Daily Mail tabloid, Piers Morgan is also the Editor at Large at the US version of the Daily Mail, a paper which has written some of the most outrageous and most highly toxic garbage about the Duchess.

Morgan’s position as Editor at Large likely means he has a great deal of influence over what the Daily Mail writes about Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.

Here is Piers Morgan’s cruel response column to actor George Clooney who recently spoke out against the media’s bullying of Duchess Meghan after Piers Morgan’s tabloid The Daily Mail published a private letter from Duchess Meghan to her father.

Why am I not shocked that a rag paper that would hire a guy like Piers Morgan who reportedly oversaw a mass invasion of privacy via phone hacking at his former rag paper, would have no qualms about publishing a daughter’s very private letter to her father for all the world to see?
My opinion?
Piers Morgan is like a vengeful stalker obsessively stalking a woman who jilted him; only he’s stalking Duchess Meghan in print, and he is possibly using an entire media outlet to help him do his stalking.
As far as I’m concerned, then actress Meghan Markle’s extremely wise move in choosing to cease contact with him, and Piers Morgan’s relentlessly toxic response to her rightful choice…
….only proves “The Ghosting of Piers Morgan” was a 100% correct, highly appropriate, and a completely justifiable decision.

In my opinion, it is beyond pathetic that a 53 year old (twice) married father of four, seems to have a dangerous obsession with a young woman, who “ghosted” him to foster a healthy and open relationship with the most sought after bachelor in the world, a Prince, a man she subsequently fell deeply in love with, and who is now her husband.
My message to Piers is:
“Move on, she wasn’t interested in keeping in contact with you. From your past track record and current highly toxic behaviour, I can see why.”
