Duchess Meghan made a suprise appearance at the ballgame on June 29th. To the delight and surprise of many, Meghan showed up at the game.
The new mother showed up looking radiant and joyful. Joining her husband, they attended the game which also was a promotion for Invictus Games.
The game between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox is the first Major League Baseball game to be played in Europe. It is taking place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Former Invictus competitors from the US and UK took part at the ceremonial first pitch.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora told ESPN:
“I was very very nervous. I haven’t felt this nervous in a while but it was a great moment for the team,” Red about meeting the royals. “We were pleased to have them in the clubhouse.”
Both teams gifted the couple with little cute jerseys for little Archie Harrison. While receiving the a jersey, Meghan gasped in happiness. Meghan also got to meet her apparent distant cousin, Mookie Betts who plays for the Red Sox.
The new mom and dad seemed to have a glow around them and appeared happier than ever.
